A
Thanksgiving Thanks.
As we come up on the 32d anniversary Thanksgiving of my return from Vietnam I have taken this time to stop and think about what I would like to say I am thankful for.
I wish to say thanks to the Lord who brought me home in one piece from a hell on earth that we call nam.
I wish to say thanks to the Lord for the love of a good woman, who has stood bye me through all the nightmares from that hell on earth.
I wish to say thanks to the Lord for my child and grandchild who love me to this day.
I wish to say thanks to the Lord who love has made me strong to grow above scorn and hate of my follow man.
I wish to say thanks to the Lord now for turning my follow man around who are now say thank you for severing our Country and our God. Thank you for fighting to keep me free and our country free but thanks to all those who gave their lives so I could walk this land a free person.
I wish to say I feel pride in our country and our military for carrying on in this changing world to maintain this freedom. For I am proud of the fact that I help carry the red, white and blue in the cause of freedom to a distant land.
