The Whetstone Association officially came into existence in October 1996 at our first reunion in Las Vegas Nevada. Officers were selected and a charter was approved. We had about 200 members at that time and are currently 600+. All former shipmates are entitled to receive our free 10 page newsletter "The Rolling Stone" every quarter. The next Reunion is in the planning stage for San Diego in September 2000. The last reunion was Biloxi, MS in Sept.98. He lived in Brooklyn until his marriage which brought him to Bowie Maryland in 1967. Frank served his tour in Viet Nam during 1968. He was involved in the Tet Offensive. Harucki during 1968 1969. Frank was stationed in Nha Trang and with with the USAECAV. He also was a survivor of the Tet Offensive.
