BOOK REPLICA of the VIETMAN VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL
On April 22, 1998, at the U.S. Senate, a reception was held for Kim Phuc, the Vietnamese girl of the famous Pulitzer Prize winning photo of the napalm attack on a village in Vietnam.
Among the tributes awarded her at the reception was the newly-published book replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Kim Phuc was visibly moved and expressed her appreciation to the creator of the replica, Steve Klein.
Mr. Klein worked for four years and against all odds doing this labor of love. "The Living Wall" book replica is printed in 4-color, heavy-cover stock and is a 1/12 scale replica of the Wall. It may be accordion-folded like a book or stretched out partially or fully (40 feet in length for two sets combined).
It was created in order to enable those touched by the spirit of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to have a replica in their homes, workplace, classroom or library. The entire 58,000+ names appear, as well as artifacts that people have left at the wall as offerings. In addition, each panel has been matched with dates of casualties and includes a comprehensive time line of battles, political events, troop build-up and losses.

These are pictures of the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor in 3-D, with a shadow-box frame and a red plate for personal information. All pictures are cut, pasted, glossed, and framed separately. All the pieces are cut out individually, including the feathers on the eagle.

The only thing I have is my old jungle boots and field jacket. I am keeping them for mementos. I came across the artist who makes these "Iwo Etchings." I've seen them for sell at $40.00 a pop. I sell them for $10.00 plus the $2.50 for postage and handling--a Total of $12.50.
I am not doing this for profit. It's my way of keeping the brotherhood and now sisterhood alive. I owe a lot to the Marine Corps. I entered in 1965 as a high school dropout and retired 23 years later as a Doctor of Education.
