VVFT fosters, encourages, and promotes the improvements and social welfare of the Vietnam Veteran and his or her dependents; assists homeless and unemployed veterans; maintains a scholarship for the children of Texas veterans; funds programs designed to bring relief to veterans who suffer from drug or alcohol abuse, and develops channels of communication which assist veterans to maximize self-realization and enhance self-fulfillment.
